Testimonials

Crestone Acoustical Solutions provided us with project reviews, recommendations, and construction cost estimates on four projects at Middlebury College in the last two years. Of these projects, two were approved for implementation and both were completed on time, on budget, and with success by your firm. From initial concept talks through completion of the installations, you have been extremely attentive to project details and timing, and your work and that of your firm has been excellent.

Crestone’s first project at Middlebury was a difficult installation in a large and very loud dining hall on campus. The work went smoothly, and Crestone worked hard to complete the installation well before the College’s required completion date in order to give our dining hall staff ample time to move back into the building to prepare for the returning students. The acoustical improvement in the space is remarkable.

This past summer, Crestone was hired as a contractor for acoustical portions of an upgrade to the Trustee Board Room in Old Chapel. You worked with me carefully to detail a solution consisting of a stretch-fabric system installed on the high covered ceiling which resulted in a fit and finish that is indistinguishable from the pre-existing painted sheet rock ceiling. Again, the acoustics of this very high profile room have been much improved and the aesthetics are terrific.

I readily recommend you for acoustic work at other institutions and will certainly not hesitate to contact you for more work at Middlebury College.

Chris and his crew at Crestone installed acoustical ceiling hung panels for the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe, Vermont. This was not an easy task, as he had to build and install the panels in place, 43 feet above the floor. He carefully reviewed the project, managed his team on schedule, worked along other trades, kept his tasks at hand, and installed the panels ahead of time and in a safe manner. Safety is an important part of the job, and he was always conscious of this. Above all, his ingrain attention to detail allowed the architect to avoid having any punch list items for his work performed.

It was a pleasure to have Chris and his company on board for this project.

My experience with Crestone, from my initial phone conversation with Chris Parsons, through the proposal stage, in meetings with architects, acoustic designers and clients, through the installation, and follow-up after the project has been excellent. Chris has demonstrated the epitome of professionalism. He has returned phone calls promptly, been responsive to technical questions which have arisen, providing me with all the information my crew needed to be sure this project went smoothly from beginning to end. The installation was simply impeccable. The job site was maintained properly; clean-up was a routine for the Crestone crew.

Crestone’s proposal was clear concise and accurate. Chris brought his phase of our project together, on time and on budget. There were no extras, no cost over-runs, no problems.

When my client added more fabric work to another area of the project I had no hesitation calling Crestone for the additional work. Again, the experience was flawless.
